Built on the systems your mine already runs

Measured, from systems in production.

Everything below comes from platforms running on a producing operation. It describes what the systems do rather than what the operation produces, because a single site cannot be meaningfully anonymised and its production numbers are not ours to publish.

Fleet
Cycle, delay and payload measures sharing one shift calendar.
Terrain
Survey products published alongside design and equipment layers.
Health
Decoded equipment events with freshness checks and replay.

Screenshots show workflow and output, not a guarantee of savings or site performance. Deployment status is confirmed during assessment.

One worth stating in full: an entire haul truck fleet was found to be ingesting empty, every counter zero, because its onboard files used an older Caterpillar format with no public documentation. Decoding it from sample files recovered the fleet's history and brought it into the same database as the rest. That is the kind of problem that stays invisible until somebody goes looking, and it is why the platform monitors its own data freshness.

Five families. One operational platform.

Integrate with the fleet, historian and survey systems you already run. Mine-owned data, on-premises deployment and no per-seat BCM charges.

Production deployed: Live fleet mapping, route analysis and material misroute monitoring

Fleet Intelligence & Mine Control

See where production is slowing while the shift can still respond.

Live fleet map, equipment state visualization, route performance, haul road speed and grade, road time loss, fleet idle monitoring, production pulse, shifter map, cycle validation, material misroute monitoring and equipment ping status.

Road-loss estimates depend on validated cycle and position coverage. Ping status requires an approved connectivity feed.

Production deployed: Reporting, gateway analytics and corporate data pipelines

Production Reporting & Data

Give dispatch, engineering and management a consistent shift definition and reconciled numbers.

SQL data warehouse, SIC dashboards, productivity reports, cycle analytics, delay reporting, payload analytics, operator/crew reporting, automated PDF and email reporting, gateway message analytics and corporate data pipelines.

Gateway-message analytics and corporate data pipelines run in production. Deployment connects approved sources and agreed reporting definitions.

Production deployed: GIS, digital twin, QFieldCloud and design management

Terrain, GIS & Digital Twin

Keep fleet, survey and design information on the same map and coordinate reference.

Mine GIS, 3D digital twin, point clouds, drone photogrammetry, orthomosaics, coordinate transformation, terrain surfaces, restricted areas, design management, QFieldCloud and DXF validation.

QFieldCloud hosting, DXF validation and the live-map design-management backend are production deployed. The backend automatically updates jobs in QFieldCloud. Survey accuracy depends on validated coordinate control.

Production deployed: VIMS, DSS device health and events, and Bridgestone TPMS

Equipment Health & Safety

Turn available machine data into maintenance and safety evidence that people can investigate.

VIMS telemetry, equipment events, asset-health dashboards, Driver Safety System device health, mapped safety-event hotspots, Bridgestone TPMS dashboards, design-file currency and compliance reporting.

Driver Safety System (DSS) monitoring tracks device health and safety events alongside the site map to show event hotspots. Bridgestone TPMS monitoring feeds a Grafana dashboard. Both run in production.

Production deployed: Alerts, baseline advisor, learned model and operational AI agents

Automation & On-Premises AI

Bring operational exceptions and routine document work into the workflows your team already uses.

Operational alerts, local LLM infrastructure, autonomous operational AI agents, baseline anomaly analysis, a learned machine-learning model, document automation and SAP maintenance workflow integration. Tooth-and-shroud AI monitoring is a proof of concept.

The learned machine-learning model, baseline advisor and autonomous operational AI agents are production deployed. Tooth-and-shroud AI monitoring is the only proof of concept.

Real screens from real shifts.

Fleet mapping, shift reporting and operational alerts from production systems. Identifiers have been altered. The public demos run on synthetic data; site-specific deployment and performance are verified during assessment.

Live mine operations map with equipment positions, trails, and design overlays
Shift production dashboard: pace versus plan, queue analysis, loading tool performance, fleet up/down board, and per-operator production
Teams alerts from site automation: misrouted dump detections with truck, operator, payload and destination, and an end-of-shift meal delay compliance summary

Screenshots from production systems. Site identifiers, serial numbers and personnel details have been altered. Public demos use synthetic data.

Mine-owned data. Clear commercial terms.

On-premises deployment

Operational databases, maps and models can run on mine-controlled infrastructure. Any optional external delivery or hosted service requires explicit approval in the architecture.

No per-seat BCM charges

Software subscriptions are priced per mine and package. Implementation and professional consulting are separate. Third-party licences and usage charges remain subject to their own terms.

Authorized integrations

Read-only service accounts, approved exports and documented APIs connect existing systems. Customer IT approval, vendor permissions and cybersecurity review define each interface.

Documented continuity

Data ownership, export formats, software-use rights, support boundaries and exit assistance are set out in the signed agreement. There is no hidden expiry or undisclosed remote disablement.

Built from the dispatch chair.

BCM Mining Technology was founded by Bernard Carl Mathew, a mining professional with twenty years in mining operations who has worked everywhere from the leach plant to running the fleet management system. Along the way that has meant surveying, drill and blast design, mine planning support, production reporting, dispatch, GIS, automation, and operational technology at a producing gold mine in Timmins, Ontario.

That operational background changes how technology gets built. Every dashboard, map, automation, and AI solution is designed around the challenges faced by dispatchers, supervisors, engineers, and operations teams every day. Rather than creating software that simply looks impressive in a demonstration, BCM develops practical systems that improve decision-making, eliminate manual work, increase operational visibility, and deliver measurable value in the field.

Technology is most valuable when it solves real operational problems. Every solution we develop begins with the workflow, not the software.
